Love Letter to the Rain

Rains
once again, you came with the bright darkness & caught hold me in the solitary. You came pouring down, drowning me in you- the way you breathe me alive. You kissed my cheeks, my lips & nose tip. You kissed my hand, my bosom, singing torrent everywhere down my feet. Being soaked in you flames my quench more than before. You conceive life in me & out too. You came unfolding my 2020 monsoon.
We cuddled through the corners of my rooftop fantasizing greens in the concrete of my city. Being grateful to the inhabitants who gave us complete privacy by registering their absence on their roofs.
